Hi! My name is River and I own Craftivism. Ever since i was a wee spriteling, no matter how my goals changed and shifted I knew I wanted to help people. Craftivism began as a thought in the summer of 2020. So many horrible injustices were happening and I couldn't escape the feeling that I wasn't doing enough. And I was right! I didn't have enough money to make regular donations and at the time I had a full time job and part time school so I didn't have the time to be constantly protesting. What I did know I could do was crochet, so well that people were constantly telling to to sell my creations. I didn't feel comfortable monetizing a hobby, but that's when I had the idea to give the money away and thus Craftivism was born! It's my solem promise to keep making good creations for good causes.
A little about me! My day job is a massage therapist. I'm super into witchy holistic practices and working to better the body. I'm a dog person to two wonderful fur balls. When I'm not crocheting I'm probably roller skating at my local tennis court (I'm not very good) or hanging out with friends. I love being in nature and going on hikes. (Why does this sound like I'm filling out a dating profile haha)
I've been crocheting since I was 12, and the love and support I've recieved from customers and everyone else who's visited my shop has meant the world to me. Thank you for your love and trust and remember to never give up that things can, will, and must change for the better <3
